FEAM is proud to announce that we are now providing Full Technical Handling to euroAtlantic Airways B777 flights at JFK, as well as Full Technical Handling to TNT Airways B777 flights at ATL. We are excited to add these EASA air carriers to our growing portfolio of global customers.
The Beacon Council recognized 50 Beacon Award nominees at a reception held on Feb. 19 at Johnson & Wales University. The Beacon Council Chair Sheldon T. Anderson welcomed the guests and served as master of ceremony. With Camron Murphy above Williams, President & CEO of The Beacon Council, Anderson and te Riele posed for photos. The winners will be honored during the 12th Annual Beacon Awards to be held on April 9 at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne.
FEAM is one of only 14 part 145 repair stations across the U.S. implementing a Safety Management System (SMS). A validation meeting was held on November 19, 2013 with the FAA SMS Program Office Implementation Support Team (IST) and Certificate Management Team (CMT). During this meeting the FAA conducted a review of FEAM’s Detailed Gap Analysis, SMS Implementation Plan and Level 1 Exit requirements. FEAM exited Level 1 as all requirements found on the FAA Exit Level 1 Checklist had been satisfactorily accomplished. FEAM is now providing service to China’s Hainan Airlines, as well as Korean Air, at Chicago (ORD)! Hainan Airlines operates the new B787 aircraft into ORD. For Korean Air, this service at ORD is a sign of FEAM’s growing relationship with that airline, as they also provide service for them at MIA and DFW. FEAM look’s forward to the continued growth at ORD!
