FEAM Launches New Compensation & Benefits Package Including $2,000 Signing Bonus Incentive for New Aircraft Technicians

With plans to hire 450 Aircraft Maintenance professionals over the next year, FEAM, one of the largest leading providers of aircraft line maintenance services in the United States and Europe has introduced an improved Employee Benefits and Compensation Package to recruit and retain top-tier talent.

Effective November 1st, 2021:

Health insurance premiums will be reduced by 50%, a supplemental reduction to the most recent decrease in April 2021.

Additionally, FEAM will enhance the 401K plan and begin matching employee contributions.

Additional benefits will be added as well with an effective date of January 1st, 2022.

FEAM’s enhanced vacation policy will include the following:

New hires will accrue 7 hours per month, an increase to the current 3.5 hours per month, during their first year of employment, and continue through the second January of their employment period, available after 90 days of employment.

The improved vacation schedule benefit follows:

2 weeks of vacation available in year 2 (the employee’s 2nd January after employment)

3 weeks of vacation available in year 3 (up one week compared to the current policy)

3 weeks of vacation available in year 4 (up one week compared to the current policy)

4 weeks of vacation available in year 5, and thereafter (compared to the current policy of 3 weeks)

Their New Hire Incentives for technicians include a Sign-On Bonus of up to $2,000; paid in the following installments: $700 after 90 days of active employment, $650 after 6 months of active employment, and the remaining $650 after 12 months of active employment.

Currently, new aircraft maintenance technicians have the opportunity to earn 75K on average, including minimal overtime.

Employees of FEAM are also incentivized to refer technicians with a revamped Referral Bonus of $500. In order to receive the referral payment, referred employees must remain employed by FEAM and in an active status for 9 months. Subsequently, the referring employee must be active and currently employed in order to be eligible for the Referral Bonus.
